We are very pleased to offer a series of bird prints from a first edition of Axel Amuchastegui's Love Life of the Birds. Unlike most of the prints on our website, this work dates from 1952, so the prints are 75 years old. We offer them because of the exceptional beauty and scarcity of the prints of this renowned artist, for whom there is now a tremendous appreciation. He is certainly one of the great ornithology illustrators of the 20th century. 

These prints are brilliant color lithographs in excellent condition on fine white rag paper with strong plate marks. Each print measures approximately 8 3/4 inches by 12 1/4 inches and is signed in the plate by the artist.
