Japanese Woodblock
&
Contemporary
Our selection of Japanese Woodblock & Contemporary Prints covers antique woodblock prints from the late 1800's or Meiji period to the Showa period and modern prints. We feature the Shin Hanga movement of the 1900s to 1960, spearheaded by Watanabe Shozaburo, capturing traditional Japanese landscapes, beauties, and nature for an International market. Prints range from the Keika Hasegawa Chrysanthemums of 1893 to Hasui scenes of great natural beauty, the landscapes Ray Morimura, Hiroto Norikane and Kazuyuki Ohtus and the islanders of Paul Binnie and Paul Jacoulet. There are beautiful prints of every style and taste in this extensive collection, all of guaranteed authenticity with many modern prints coming directly from the artists.
