Expressing history and culture in an ornamental style, this work has been used as a guide by Art Nouveau architects, and serves as an inspiration for artists & designers to this day. Racinet and Owen Jones are the two great influences in decorative ornament. Each chromolithographed print is on high quality paper. The condition of the prints is very nice with only a little faint foxing on just a few of the plates, as shown. The prints are very decorative, with genuine gold and silver illumination on most.
