10 by 16 inches
OGL10 $155

This work was published by Ogilby in 1671 after Arnoldus Montanus's De Nieuwe en Onbekende Weereld of which the smaller 4 prints are from the Montanuse edition, with all the larger prints with English text from the Ogilby edition showing America in the earliest years of exploration.

As described:
'Being The latest, And Most Accurate Description Of The New World; Containing The Original of the Inhabitants, and the Remarkable Voyages thither. The Conquest Of The Vast Empires Of Mexico and Peru, and Other Large Provinces and Territories, With The Several European Plantations In Those Parts.
Each print is an original copper plate engraving in good condition with some edge toning and slight chipping with later hand coloring. The Montanus  measure about 12 by 7 1/2 inches and the Ogilby about 10 by 16 inches.
