After graduating from Tama University of Art in 1962 Yoshisuke Funasaka studied in the United Kingdom and the United States for 2 years in the 1970's. He has developed a very distinctive abstract style utilizing different mediums including woodblock printing, silk screen and mixed media techniques. Exhibited extensively in Japan and abroad, his work is held by many museums.
