Each print measures approximately 14 1/2 inches by 19 1/2 inches.

This collection of prints by Thomas Weigner showcases unique and colorful Art Nouveau designs inspired by plants and insects. Each folio page demonstrates a form found in nature, then a stylized swirled and bowed form, and finally an artistic pattern made of the forms. Weigner was the director of the College of Weaving in Warnsdorf, Germany. His designs, made at the peak of Art Nouveau's popularity, were most likely intended for textiles.

Each folio page measures approximately 19 1/2" by 14 1/2." The chromolithographs are printed on an unusually textured and thick stock of three leaves bonded together.
