Echinocereus Berlandieri SMC37 $125
Each print measures approximately 9 3/4 by 12 inches

Bluhende Kakteen or Iconographia Cactacearum by F. Vaupel, Karl Schumann & Max Gurke was published in 1900. This very rare work was issued only once, and contains some of the most beautiful images of cactus ever seen in all of botanical illustration. The beautifully detailed drawings were by Toni Gurke, the wife of the author Max Gurke, and are with partial hand colouring, very unusual at this late date.

Each lithograph is on a lightly creamy paper with no fox marks and measures approximately 9 3/4 by 12 inches. The illustrations are as vibrant and fresh as the day published, and breathtakingly beautiful. The original descriptive text and a copy of the title page accompanies each print. The photos are very accurate, so please review carefully.  All our prints are authentic antique prints and guaranteed to be from the date stated.
