Elements of the Science of Botany, as Established by Linnaeus by Richard Duppa was published in 1809 by T. Bensley for J. Murray. This charming work depicts many wonderful botanicals arranged according to Linnaeus’ revolutionary taxonomy. The original hand coloring of these original antique prints is vibrant and bright, with the measurements at approximately 4 1/4 inches by 6 1/4 inches. There is no descriptive text but a copy of the title page will be provided. These prints are in excellent condition give their age of nearly 200 years.
