Jerrard Antique Fruit & Flower Prints 1852

The Group of the Ball JR3 $295
Each print measures approximately 10 1/4 inches by 14 1/2 inches.

Gems for the Drawing Room
by Paul Jerrard, London, 1852

These charming illustrations of fruit and flowers are the height of Victorian illustration, accompanied by equally flowery poetry written by F.W.N. Bayley Esq. They are now extremely rare, as are the other works Jerrard published, “The Floral Offering” and “Exotic Birds.” Each is beautifully hand colored and enhanced by gold lettering. On the verso of most is a poem, also in gold lettering.
Each print measures 10 ¼ by 14 ½ on heavy, creamy paper in excellent condition. What a perfect Valentine’s gift!
