We are not production
framers. Our inspiration stems from a desire to enhance the beauty
of these antique prints, part of our legacy from past generations who
loved this art form & often dedicated their lives to it. Over the
years, we have come to prefer certain treatments and framing
combinations which match the superb spirit of the prints. We offer
these examples of possible treatments in the hope that you too will
find ideas and combinations that please you.
We are delighted to make mats and/or frames to your specifications. Please allow at least two weeks, as we hand make all our frames and mats & we are very painstaking. Part of the fun is finding exactly the right colors of marbled paper & exactly the right frame to harmonize with the print, but it does take a little time. Choice will be offered you along the way to achieving the perfect combination. We use 100% rag mats, conservation glass and hand made marbled papers from England France & Italy. Once framed, you will have an enduring work of art to please to please your eye & speak to your soul on a daily basis! |
