We are pleased to offer a selection of hand colored engravings from Antique ouero Cultura di Fiori by Giovanni Baptista Ferrari, published in 1638. This wonderful work depicts beautiful flowers and Antiquel arrangements, all illustrated by the finest Italian artists of the day. A series of allegorical illustrations are also present, depicting Ferrari's own stories of seven days in the life of Antique.

Each engraving has survived the centuries in excellent condition, and is on a fine chain-lined paper, with some bearing watermarks. Each engraving measures approximately 7 inches by 9 ¾ inches, and has been recently hand colored by one of the last remaining professional English colorists. The photos are very accurate, so please review carefully. There is no descriptive text, but a copy of the title page will be included with each print. All our prints are authentic antique prints and guaranteed to be from the date stated. These prints are more than 370 years old!
